Description
The Site Manager is central to ensuring the daily site works are performed in accordance with the project construction Programme. In conjunction with the Project Manager, Site Engineer, and Construction Manager.
Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety plan (including Inductions, Method Statements and Risk Assessments
Requirements
Ensure that Inspection and Test Plans are prepared, implemented and updated using BIM.
Implement and monitor the QA/QC to standard plans and procedures.
Responsible for implementing and maintaining the Project Management Plan (PMP)
Responsible for programming (Sub-Contractors) short term programmes.
Provide input into the progress reports.
Site duties includes updates on any delays, staff welfare, site security, site security & sub-contractor sign off.
Ensure accurate records are kept.
Involved in new staff inductions & briefings as well certifications and safety checks. English language assessment is a bonus.
Maintain a good working relationship with Clients, Sub-Contractors, Consultants, Associated Personnel and all stakeholders.
Liaise with Building Control and all other Statutory bodies and Authorities.
Interface with designers, project teams and any other visitor to site.
Experience in the Construction Industry is essential for this role.
Construction related Degree
At least 5 year's experience with a Main Contractor in Ireland or the UK on £10m projects.
