What You Will Be Doing
● Develop and execute channel programs to build pipeline and awareness and, where
necessary, adapt & localise global/regional channel marketing programs
● Work with the Australian marketing organisation to drive execution of channel marketing
activity at the country level
● Directly engage with channel partners in order to build strong relationships that will lead
to the optimum revenue result and strategic impact for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.
● Support channel partners on marketing plan development, execution of co-branded
demand generation activities, and online partner portal requests
● Work with field marketing & channel sales to identify target channel prospects for each
type of channel program per geography and over time
● Act as the central coordination point within the Australia organisation for all channel
marketing activity
● Manage the Australia and New Zealand channel marketing budget to ensure the optimum
prioritisation of funds across many different activity types and demonstrate the best ROI
for key activities (including ROI by partner).
● Develop KPIs, set up and manage the reporting for each channel program intended to
deliver desired ROI in terms of bookings, number of partners engaged, number of
partners enabled etc.
● Share results and outcomes internally with key stakeholders and advise on ways for
improvement
● Comprehensively review marketing campaigns and initiatives to better understand
effectiveness, ROI and generate continuous improvement
● Work in collaboration with the regional channel marketing resources in order to provide
local input into the creation of global resources e.g. channel portals and web services for
partners
● Work with Field Marketing & AP Channel Marketing Team to develop content architecture
for partner-facing core content; developing and contributing to global teams as possible.● Work with both global and local channel teams to develop compelling business-oriented
value propositions for the various **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. partners. Example content: partner case
study, partner press release, channel sales enablement, partner pitch deck
● Report on success of channel marketing activities based on a variety of metrics such as
marketing leads, sales leads, partner engagement metrics, joint pipeline development,
and partner-influenced Revenue.
What You Bring To The Team
● 5 yrs experience in a channel marketing role within the tech industry, with channel
marketing experience
● Understanding of a broad range of marketing activities and disciplines
● Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
● Strong collaboration and relationship building skills
● Skilled in B2B Event (and virtual) organisation
● Track record of working with sales, channel partners, customers, field/global marketing
● High energy and passion with a “can do” attitude
● Executes with urgency
● Extensive knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics, and tools.
● Extensive knowledge of offering, segment, partner, and account- based marketing.
● Strong project and budget management skills.
● Strong analytical skills.
● Excellent interpersonal skills.
● Excellent negotiating skills.
● Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and functional disciplines.
● Strong influencing and consensus-building skills.
● Conflict resolution skills.
