This position is responsible for maintaining high production, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible. Responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities. Requires an essential understanding and control of the production process, accurate record keeping, and general line maintenance and staffing. Ensure all workstations have passed USDA inspection, promote safety daily and at the monthly safety meetings. Ensure every position is filled before start-up of production line. Oversee job rotation to facilitate ergonomics and ensure all machinery is performing to the highest standard possible. Requires the ability to communicate company benefits and compensation policies to team members and provide encouragement to build the best team possible. Must have the critical ability to perform the human relations functions like training, retention, counseling on personal and professional problems. Oversee various processing operations; work with other supervisors to solve problems; keep product records; provide continuous education on the importance of quality. Other duties/responsibilities as assigned. Basic computer skills with MS Word, Excel and Outlook preferred. Requires strong human relations and communication skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

Resume is required: Resume must contain contact information, related work experience/history, skills and educational information. Must have 1 years’ work experience in Fresh Meats beef or pork processing. High school diploma or equivalent required; education beyond high school including special training, vocational school and/or college courses is preferred.
