We are hiring a passionate and driven Sr Manager to lead our Physician Relations Team. In this role you will lead both the Structural Heart and Mitral/Tricuspid Businesses. This multi-faceted role will manage a team responsible for delivering strategic physician advisory programs including global advisory boards, innovation summits, R&D design panels, voice of customer encounters, key senior leadership needs, in addition to establishing and managing society, and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) strategies.
In this role you will interface across all business domains and shared services (operations) and accountable to interface with key physicians/thought leaders, Medical Education, Marketing, alternate operating unit Physician Relations functions and the Field Team in collaboration with Clinical, Compliance, R&D and Legal.
**A Day in the Life**
Develop and implement innovative strategic advisory service offerings designed to support business priorities and accelerate critical business decisions
Establish/manage society strategies that align with Global and US marketing initiatives, medical education programs, clinical evidence and medical affairs priorities
Author business case and detailed budgets to justify program investment
Hire, develop, and coach members on the Physician Relations team
evaluate and refine work procedures across programs ensuring quality control standards are in place
Define and manage all aspects division related metrics and reporting
Work with internal and HCP subject matter experts for advisory services and meetings.
Develop and maintain key KOL/thought leader relationships.
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with Aortic, Cardiac Surgery, and Coronary/Renal Denervation and SH OU and geography leaders
Use critical thinking, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrate strong on the spot decision-making skills by offering solutions that are thorough, practical, and aligned with the business needs.
Represent SH organization as a key contact with physician consultants, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.
Monitors and enforces all standards and regulations in the Medtronic Business Conduct Standards as they pertain to customer events and visits. Identify necessary customer contracts in compliance with Medtronic and state regulations and facilitate their execution and maintenance.
Oversees the implementation of policies and procedures.
Continually seek out and participate in self development activities.
Ability to travel 35-45%, periodic weekend and evening hours.

**Must Have:**
Bachelors degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience in physician relations, medical education, marketing or sales role (5 years with Advanced Degree)
Experience managing complex customer-focused programs
Previous people management experience (formal or informal)
Experience working with cross-functional teams both internal and external
**Nice to Have:**
Advanced degree (MBA, MSN, Ph.D., etc)
Structural Heart product and therapy understanding helpful
Experience with developing and maintaining strong relationships with physician consultants as well as other cross-functional teams
Working knowledge of Business Conduct Standards (BCS)
Familiarity working within Medtronic systems, ie. Concur, HUB, Cornerstone, Salesforce
