Shell Lubricants was named the global number one player in the industry for 12 consecutive years. We sell about 5 billion litres of lubricant every year, one third of which goes into passenger cars. Two thirds go into industrial and heavy-duty use, such as heavy-duty transport, agriculture, power generation and manufacturing.

A world-class supply chain that features 5 base oil plants, 10 grease plants and 40 blending plants
A robust network of distributors bringing Shell lubricants to more than 100 countries
Lubricants Marketing Manager Germany for passenger cars motoroil at independent workshops
Shell is keen to accelerate the growth of passenger cars motoroil (PCMO) in the independent workshop (IWS) channel via distributors and motor factors. As marketing manager IWS in Germany your main goal will be to create a network of independent workshops to convert to Shell Network through:
Developing a nationwide vision that takes into consideration key experiences already in place as well as innovative approaches and upcoming trends
Strong analysis of coverage, throughput and penetration in full alignment with Sales team
Strategic marketing planning in collaboration with lubricants brand team as well as Shell Helix Marketing Manager
Relationship building and sell through mentality supporting route to market activities
Analysing and adapting the available portfolio to changing trends based on customer insights
Translation of technical benefits into sales pitches and marketing materials

Requirements:
Your profile
This role will be one of the most important country marketing and sales projects for the next years in PCMO. In addition to profound project management experience a balanced combination of strategic and implementation skills will be needed. Furthermore, we are looking for candidates with:
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineer or a related field of expertise
Minimum of five years experience in sales/aftersales, network development or trade marketing
Lubricants passenger cars motor oils market experience in a sales or marketing role is welcomed
Extraordinary commercial mindset combined with very strong project plan capability
Creative ideas, innovative approaches and digital marketing competences
Solid communication and inter-disciplinary skills to build strong relationships internally and externally
Fluency in English and German (spoken and written)
