to work on-site at our Fulfillment Center based in Shepherdsville, KY. The ideal candidate is a curious, driven, high-impact individual who will help use data to drive critical, real-world Operational business decisions, helping the Operations team improve their FC, Transportation and Supply Chain processes. To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will draw from their unique blend of analytical expertise operational understanding to collaborate with Operations to turn business questions into recommendations.

This role is responsible for bringing Operations, Tech and business stakeholders together to engage in the planning and delivering of new processes, programs and tools across the Fulfillment, Transportation and Supply Chain departments. The DM will leverage their mastery of data analysis, a trained “operational eye” and ability to bring cross-functional teams together to achieve continuous improvement across a variety of interconnected business verticals. This role is accountable to performing ROI assessments on large-scale projects, including picking and shipping automation concepts, slotting/infrastructure strategies and space optimization. As projects move to implementation, this role will be responsible for identifying and building the KPIs to measure the performance of each initiative and working closely with the technology teams to secure the necessary data and cultivate it into actionable insights for their Operational partners.

Responsibilities:

Ensure end-to-end delivery of insights for complex sprints and multi-year projects across multiple workstreams in the Operations Analytics domain

Act as a single point of contact for leadership and business stakeholders in Fulfillment, Supply Chain, Transportation regarding delivery related matters, including escalations, implementations, strategic shifts, etc.

Coordinate research, testing, analysis and recommendations between multiple stakeholders and cross-functional departments

Establish and manage long-term partnerships with operational, technical and various stakeholders

Through collaboration with Operations personnel, ensure that project solutions can be delivered in line with current operating standards

Establish delivery plan of project and sprint analyses, outlining level of effort, resources required, timelines, KPIs and deliverables

Provide direction to business teams on analytical insights resulting in potential risk, opportunities and resolution paths

Qualifications

5 years of practical experience in delivering projects in Data and Analytics, Operations Fulfillment, Solutions, Business Intelligence

3 years’ experience in an analytical role

Experience using problem solving and analytical skills to solve business problems and drive process improvements

Ability to work effectively with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

Ability to create, improve and document processes, workflows

Familiar with relevant technological solutions, industry best practices

Good understanding of e-commerce, fulfillment and related data challenges and proven experience with solutions engineering

Aware of and possess hands-on knowledge of ERP systems including but not limited to WMS (warehouse management systems), WCS (warehouse control systems) and OMS (order management systems)

Aware of various tools, techniques, and expertise of data mining, predictive analytics, regression analysis, etc.

Experience with data visualization and similar tools, technologies

Good understanding of various delivery approaches (well-versed in agile)

High degree of comfort to present both to large or small audiences

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-moving environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to adapt messaging to suit stakeholder audience and appropriate saturation level

Preferred Qualifications

5 Years in E-Commerce Fulfillment Environment

Skilled at cleaning data through Tableau Prep and preparing visualizations through Tableau Desktop

Hands-on experience in implementing large-scale automation projects in a warehousing, manufacturing or supply chain environment

Exceptional presentation skills

Strong SQL background (or comparable programming language)

Manhattan Warehouse Management System

Six Sigma, Kaizen, Agile, or other Process Improvement methodologies

PMP or similar certification

Certification in Change Management
