Description

The Director, Technology Solutions executes on Group IT initiatives for service operations, account installation, and other core functions for Commercial business. The Director, Technology Solutions requires understanding of the business of the Commercial segment, and how business capabilities connect across the segment.

Responsibilities

The Director, Technology Solutions acts as a liaison and collaborates with business and functional partners to identify and deliver solutions. Technology solutions span strategic delivery, capabilities to advance business objectives, and 'run the business.' Decisions are typically related to the implementation of new/updated programs or large-scale projects for the segment, supporting technical/operational procedures and processes, and system performance. The Director is part of the Group IT extended leadership team, and contributes to outcomes across the segment.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors or related experience

5 years of managing a technology team

8 years working in technology

Strong communication skills

Able to create and share presentations to multiple levels of stakeholders (e.g., senior executives in business and IT, architects, developers)

Able to clearly explain complex ideas and technologies to non-technical audiences

Able to build strong partnership and has proven track record of collaboration across stakeholders.

Outcomes-oriented with solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes

Progressive experience leading continuous improvement efforts, evaluating existing systems and implementing process improvements

Proven ability to influence others and interact with all levels of the organization using negotiating, influencing, and change management skills

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on driving outcomes for segment growth

Preferred Qualifications

Masters

Experience creating/leading agile delivery teams
