Responsibilities
We have an exciting opportunity for a Department Manager of Information Security. In this role, you will provide leadership in areas of Vulnerability Management, Penetration Testing, and Security Architecture. Through collaboration with other IT and Security teams, you will ensure our security posture is strong, proactive, and ready to meet today\u2019s challenges. 
 
Your leadership responsibilities will include the development of your teams from career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, and performance and salary reviews. Responsibilities for this team also include designing and supporting security-specific strategies, operations, and processes. You will also define service quality standards, ensure adherence, and incentivize continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have experience managing risk and information security. Also, the perfect candidate will be a collaborative leader who is comfortable leading through change and has a proven ability to achieve strategic goals.
 
The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate the following:

Stay current with security trends related to Vulnerability Management, Penetration Testing, and Security Architecture.
Lead teams to establish a modern services portfolio and roadmap for Vulnerability Management, Penetration Testing, and Security Architecture.
Align departmental work with other information security and IT initiatives
Establish KPIs, identify opportunities, and improve processes
Build and develop teams that are integrated and high performing
Analyze to determine the best path for solving business problems/opportunities that may include process improvement, systems enhancement, and user training
Ensure solutions developed across the organization are aligned to enterprise architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services, and meet financial targets (cost and benefits)
Build strong relationships across our Global IT teams to ensure consistency, transparency, and best practices 
Analyze, influence, and translate security requirements into concepts and strategies that align with our overall technology vision
Strong collaboration with other security teams to validate, enhance, and implement policies per changes in business strategy and threat landscape.

Qualifications
Required:

Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
The IT Department Manager typically requires 8 or more years of related experience in Information Technology
5 or more years of related experience in Information Security or Risk Management
Experience successfully leading teams through transformation
Prior success in developing high-performing teams through executing responsibilities, including career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, and performance and salary reviews
Demonstrated ability to think strategically, collaborate effectively, communicate directly, and achieve results
Demonstrated experience planning and implementing a strategic vision, including anticipating and navigating roadblocks to achieve success
Demonstrated ability to manage operations while driving and implementing strategic change simultaneously
Superb relationship management skills, specifically related to leading change with the ability to create a non-adversarial atmosphere and be viewed as a partner
Exceptional communication skills as demonstrated by the ability to promote ideas and solutions effectively; convey complex information in a manner that is easily understood and actionable to both non-technical and technical leaders
Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
Experience in a large enterprise
Experience leading and managing resource planning to support business objectives
Experience presenting and interfacing with internal business stakeholders
