Your challenge!Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Yard Supervisors mission is to be responsible for overseeing the daily operations in the woodyard, including leading an autonomous, established team of 5-6 in the woodyard and chipping operation.You will own the management of both inbound and outgoing material such as fiber supply and biomass, and contract/supplier negotiationIf you have experience in the Forestry Industry, are looking for a change where you get to work within your industry and also hone your business and sales skills we want to hear from you!Role & Responsibilities- Lead the operation and performance of the woodyard and chipping operation comprised of 5 to 6 employees- Promote Health & Safety improvement within assigned activities in line with the values of the company- Ensure compliance of all incoming fiber material (Logs, chips and OCC) with quality standards- Manage outgoing material like Biomass- Manage, and coordinate inbound fiber supply, manage and negotiate wood contracts including supplier assessment- Represent the CCP Trenton operation at the OFIA (Ontario Forest Industry Association)- Lead Site with FSC certification and compliance- Develop long term plan for inbound fiber modelExperiences and strengths- Extensive experience in the Forestry or Chip wood industry required- Supervisory experience- Purchasing/Buyer experience considered an asset- Forestry Certificate considered an asset- FSC Certification experience an assetWhy work at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.?Great Benefits PackageRRSP programCompetitive Compensation packageswonderful company culturelots of career development opportunitiesPPE AllowanceProfit Sharing**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. believes in the success of an inclusive organization that values diversity within its team.
