Rue Gilt Groupe is looking for a Senior Manager: Transportation & Supply Chain

to join our Fulfillment Operations & Transportation Team based in Shepherdsville, Kentucky.

This is a pivotal opportunity to have a massive impact: Join our world-class team combining two of the top private off price e-commerce destinations, Gilt and Rue La La. Fueled by $1B in annual sales and delighting millions of members along the way, as a Senior member of our Kentucky based leadership team, you will be directly involved in optimizing and transforming our growing transportation network from supplier to consumer. Your areas of expertise and influence will own costs and processes associated with inbound parcel, LTL, and trailer load shipments to our fulfillment center, as well as more than 6 million outbound direct-to-consumer parcel shipments across the globe. Internally, you’ll work with a world class team of on-site fulfillment operations, transportation, and logistics professionals to make it happen. Externally, you’ll have direct influence and accountability for relationships with FedEx, 3

party freight auditors, TMS software providers, brand partner operations, and more. 100% of your influence will drive cost and process efficiencies in route to providing a best-in-class member experience.

JOINING US, YOU WILL

Manage the day-to-day performance of transportation and supply chain operations through the establishment of processes and procedures with clear expectations using defined and to-be-developed metrics (KPI’s).

Refine and drive compliance SOP’s internally with your operational partners and externally with parcel, TL, LTL carriers, and service providers (TMS, parcel audit, etc.)

Define and drive continuous improvement projects to optimize transportation operations and improve service to meet and exceed customer experience and business objectives; work on strategic projects that have operations-facing impact that include direct partnerships with technology, customer service, finance, and others.

Effectively leverage the entire Shepherdsville, KY based fulfillment operations team and key external business relationships and service providers to share ideas leading to improved efficiencies and service.

Foster a team environment driving collaboration that drives superior performance.

Provide support for future distribution and network changes, system installations, new product launches, and acquisitions.

YOU’LL BRING

5-7 years of e-commerce parcel industry knowledge with direct experience on behalf of a direct to consumer company managing tactical (local) and strategic relationships with national & regional parcel carriers like UPS, FedEx, Ontrac, and Lasership.

An in-depth understanding of parcel cost drivers including additional handling, dimensional weight, zone, surcharges, fuel, and claims management.

3-5 years experience in North American transportation markets and operations including Truckload Brokerage, Less-than-Truckload, Air-Freight, White Glove Home Delivery.

Logistics systems user experience (TMS, WMS, Freight Optimization, and others).

Data management & analytical capabilities in leveraging broad, sometimes ambiguous, large, and complex datasets to develop and inform business focus and opportunity.

Adept at directly analyzing data and developing executive-facing presentations.

Proven experience measuring success through KPI development, analytics, industry benchmarking, and project management.

A passion for best-in-class customer experience while balancing speed to consumer, cost, and growth.

Fluency in Excel, Access, Tableau, PPT, Google Docs.

A creative and entrepreneurial mindset and thrive on owning the results.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Leadership / Collaboration / Desire to succeed and solve complex challenges.

College degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics; or a combination of advanced education and relevant experience
