Description
The Associate Director, Associate Relations coordinates employee relations programs to ensure compliance with policies and practices. The Associate Director, Associate Relations requires a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across department(s).
The Associate Director, Associate Relations develops and implements policies and procedures, including grievance procedures and exit interviews. Researches and responds to employee questions, concerns and grievances. Maintains employee relations records. Decisions are typically related to identifying and resolving complex technical and operational problems within department(s), and could lead multiple managers or highly specialized professional associates. The Associate Director oversees a team of professional Human Resources staff providing direct feedback and development. Responsible for the oversight of performance management, employee grievances, investigations of alleged misconduct.
Responsibilities
The Associate Director; Associate Relations will:
Develop and drive a strategic vision around human capital for all aligned leaders and organizations
Handle complex issues and ensure full resolutions of escalated matters
Foster a customer-centric environment and mindset to deliver a superior employee experience
Build a strong, trusting business relationship with aligned leaders and organizations
Act as a business partner; advise leaders on all HR-related opportunities and gaps and drive initiatives to positively impact each organization's business goals and objectives
Provide leadership to drive a high performance team-based culture and engagement
Partner with specialized HR areas including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, organizational effectiveness, learning, Inclusion & Diversity, and other HR shared services to ensure organization needs are fully met
Implement best practices and support the delivery of core HR processes (e.g., performance management, talent management, compensation planning)
Identify gaps, propose and implement changes necessary to mitigate risks
Act to enhance organization effectiveness and provoke positive organization changes
Lead performance management projects and manage HR-related initiatives addressing policy and process alignment
Ensure Associate Relations Policies, practices and procedures are thorough and objective, aligned with Humana values and drives a consistent associate experience across the enterprise
Advise executives to develop functional strategies on matters of significance
Access and derive insights from HR Dashboards, engagement, team performance and talent analytics to inform diverse leadership talent and capability across the business

Required Qualifications
Master's degree
6 or more years of demonstrated progressive Human Resources, Labor Relations, Employment Law or related experience.
2 or more years of demonstrated management/leadership experience
Know of federal, state, and local rules and regulations related to Human Resources in the private and public sectors.
Knowledge of Compensation , benefits, contract administration
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing programs that measurably impact associate relations
Demonstrated to implement policies and procedures
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated relationship management skills and capacity to influence business Leader within operations
Demonstrated ability to develop, perform and coach direct reports
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Strong MS office experience
Ability to utilize HRIS systems
Preferred Qualifications
Professional in Humana Resources( PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources( SPHR)
