POSITION SUMMARY:

The Corporate Responsibility (CR) department’s mission is to support our brands, regions and functions to drive fashion forward for good. We aim to do this by embedding “Sustainable Business” into PVH’s DNA – including strategy and visioning, culture, and business operations. The CR Manager will focus on embedding sustainable business practices into PVH business operations globally. This will include driving the adoption of sustainable materials, integrating sustainability into raw material supplier selection, and managing the development of internal policies, procedures, and associate trainings on sustainable business practices.

The successful candidate will exhibit excellent communication and program management skills, strong analytic capabilities, effective problem solving, and the ability to foster partnerships. Direct experience in supply chain, sustainable products, and business operations is strongly preferred.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Drive the Supply Chain team’s adoption of sustainable materials and packaging across the business:
    • Drive implementation of sustainable material adoption by partnering with brands and regions to track the uptake against PVH’s Regenerate Materials target (Sustainably source 100% of PVH’s cotton and viscose by 2025, and 100% of polyester by 2030) and Forest Protection Policy
    • Manage relationships with key external partners on scaled sustainable material certifications, e.g. BCI, Canopy, Textile Exchange etc.
  • Partner with Supply Chain to develop a sustainability strategy for raw material suppliers:
    • Collaborate with the Supply Chain and Raw Material teams to globalize sustainability strategy for raw materials suppliers and finalize a time-bound sustainable materials adoption roadmap
    • Support the integration of human rights and environmental sustainability priorities into raw material supply chain business processes
    • Project manage the continued expansion of the CR supplier program to Tier 2 of PVH’s global supply chain (trim manufacturers, fabric mills, etc.) to drive social and environmental initiatives in high impacts areas of our supply chain, with the goal of establishing real-time, global visibility to PVH’s Tier 2 supply chain data
  • Develop sustainable business policies and procedures:
    • Guide the evolution of policy, procedures and guidelines that govern global sustainable material and packaging operations for CR, brands, regions, and corporate functions
  • Project manage associate trainings on sustainable business processes:
    • Oversee project planning for cross-functional associate training content to embed sustainability responsibilities into brands, regions, and corporate functions in partnership with colleagues working on sustainable innovation/circularity
  • Manage relationships with customers and e-tailers on sustainability priorities and requirements:
    • Ensure that all brands and regions are equipped to meet existing and rapidly accelerating new customer certification requirements on human rights and environmental sustainability, e.g. Walmart, Zalando, Amazon etc.
    • Collaborate with the product sustainability team on emerging customer requirements that inform PVH strategy on product sustainability
    • Partner with brands and regions to leverage sustainability as a differentiator with key accounts

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience: At least 5 years relevant experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree a plus

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster and maintain collaborative relationships with team leadership, external business partners, industry peers and overseas teams
  • Business acumen to partner with all brands, commercial regions, and corporate functions
  • Demonstrated ability managing corporate responsibility-related programs in the supply chain and in product development processes
  • Experience managing and providing internal and external training
  • Strong problem solving abilities with a solutions oriented mindset
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically to deliver results
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to explain complex data and content in a clear and impactful way with target audiences in mind
  • Proficient in using MS Excel to combine and analyze data from various sources, and generate reports and graphics.
  • Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
  • Knowledge of the apparel industry, consumer goods industry, product development or supply chain preferred
  • Experience working with sustainability certifications preferred
