Description

​The Associate Director, Agile Program Delivery is accountable for establishing ways of working and enabling the successful delivery of a Product Portfolio. Responsible for partnering with Product Management Leadership and partners across the organization to develop an integrated delivery plan that brings the product strategy and vision to life iteratively and efficiently. Leads a team of Program Delivery Leads aligned to Product Portfolio.

Facilitate coordinated planning events across the Product Portfolio

Aggregate Product and Feature team objectives into Product Portfolio objectives and publish them for visibility and transparency

Coach leaders, Product Managers, Program Delivery Leads and other team members within the Product Portfolio in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets

Work with Product Management and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment

Encourage collaboration between Solution and System Architects/Engineering and Agile Teams

Facilitate Product Portfolio roadmap syncs, ART syncs and other key coordination touchpoints

Communicate, present, and advise leadership on the overall Product Portfolio's progress and impediments

Manage large-scale, complex Product Portfolios often involving multiple internal and external constituents and matrixed partners

Define, track, and coordinate metrics and milestones across the Product Portfolio while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan

Understand and report on Product Portfolio backlog health, team velocity, commitment reliability and any insights related to opportunities for improvement to improve morale and productivity across teams

Attract, grow, and retain Program Delivery Leads who will focus on quality and continuous delivery in partnership with product and Agile engineering teams

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

8 years of technical experience

2 years of project leadership experience

Professional experience leading the agile delivery of large, multi-team programs

Demonstrated experience establishing and delivering complex programs

Technical Skills: Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) Jira Align, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization effectively

Proficiency in complex facilitation and dependency management techniques (cross team, cross segments)

WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) is required.

Preferred Qualifications

SAFe Certified Release Train Engineer (RTE) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)e

Certified Change Management Professional

Healthcare Experience

Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified

Additional Information
