The Quality Control Manager is responsible for applying technical knowledge of Air Force Technical Order data and information in reviewing documentation to insure compliance with associated military specifications requirements. He/she is also responsible for evaluation of source data and the configuration management of such data into inter-related technical manuals and commodity manuals.
Job Requirements :
Management skills to include organizing and problem solving.
Extensive computer skills using various database and desktop programs; also includes technical data content analysis, data integration, and configuration management of data.
Mandatory:
Five years experience as a Technical Writer/Editor.
Understands TO System. Able to prioritize workload.
Able to effectively work with other personnel.
Able to effectively communicate both written and orally.
Able to adapt to new processes and procedures.
Able to resolve problems/issues relating to assigned manuals.
Possesses an understanding of various digital data systems.
Able to multi-task.
Possess good organizational skills
Desirable:
1 - 5 years experience in TO related career field, Associates degree desired.
Previous supervisor experience to include ability to make work assignments, implement training and write performance evaluations.
Prior military/civil service experience desirable.
