The Director, Cloud Architecture - Modernization Strategy & Planning leads the Mainframe Modernization Program and the Voice of the Segment team to accelerate the activation of Humana's strategy within the segment-aligned IT teams. The position requires an in-depth understanding of how organizational and technical capabilities interrelate across a healthcare enterprise to drive value.

Responsibilities

The Director, Cloud Architecture - Modernization Strategy & Planning leads the Mainframe Modernization Program and the Voice of the Segment team to accelerate the activation of Humana's strategy within the segment-aligned teams. The position requires an in-depth understanding of how organizational and technical capabilities interrelate across a healthcare enterprise to drive value.

The Voice of the Segment team within this position's organization works directly with segment-aligned IT executives, leaders, and application teams to activate the modernization strategy, align roadmaps, and technically plan for new IT cloud computing products and service offerings.

The Mainframe Modernization Program ensures cost and roadmap transparency for applications migrating from the mainframe. Additionally, modernization pain points are identified and remediated to accelerate learning and speed to market. Decisions this position makes are typically related to the implementation of new/updated program capabilities to create value for the enterprise.

Required Qualifications

15 or more years of technical experience

5 or more years of management experience

Technology modernization experience in the healthcare industry

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Cloud certifications, for example Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Salesforce

Service Now experience
