Job Summary

This position is part of the California Region PMO (Project Management Office). Responsible for effective delivery of mid-to-large sized cross-functional projects of significant complexity. Also charged with independently executing high-priority/visibility assignments. Leads project teams by managing schedule, risks/issues, scope, and cost. Projects and initiatives are across all business pillars. Leads several projects and assignments simultaneously. Operates in a highly matrixed, cross-functional environment that involves region, division, HQ and at times external stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

Delivers projects successfully throughout project life-cycle, leveraging project management tools and addressing risks/issues by making adjustments proactively.

Assembles project teams, assigning responsibilities, and identifying appropriate resources needed to ensure successful completion of deliverables and projects.

Directs project teams in the development and implementation of project strategy and plans, including detailed schedule.

Adeptly uses PMO methodology and tools, in-line with expectations-including high quality documentation, adherence, and best practices.

Leads (or actively participates in) various special project and continuous improvement initiatives within PMO, Finance & Business Operations, and broader organizations.

Delivers effective communication related to assigned work, ensuring key stakeholders are informed of status and escalates as appropriate.

Consistently exercises independent judgment/discretion in driving and problem-solving significant matters.

Negotiates with key stakeholders and others as appropriate to optimize results.

Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance/availability. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary based on business demands.

Salary:

Pay Range: $118,335.01 - $177,502.51

Additional Range: This job can be performed in Ca with a Pay Range of $118,335 USD -$177,502 USD

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
