Retail Manager Jobs description
A retail manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a retail outlet or store, achieving sales targets, and setting benchmarks for marketing. He has to render customer service for increasing the sales. Retail managers also ensure that optimal inventory levels are maintained for all products in the store. They have to recruit, train, and evaluate team leaders, clerks, housekeeping staff, sales executives, retail executives, and cash handlers. He has to ensure that the store complies with regulations and organizational policies. In addition, retail managers establish and maintain store customer service policies, build good public relations with customers, support and oversee promotional campaigns, and analyze sales reports. They are also responsible for their stores\' profits and losses.There are many retail manager positions in retail outlets and malls. Some job titles categorized as retail management positions include store manager, assistant store manager, assistant retail manager, and assistant operations manager. Retail manager jobs may require candidates who have bachelor\'s degrees in marketing or business management and several years of experience in a retail setting.
