Safety Manager Jobs
The Safety manager plans, implements, and coordinates program to reduce or eliminate injuries, illnesses, deaths, and financial losses. The Safety manager identifies and appraises conditions which could produce accidents and financial losses and evaluates potential extent of injuries resulting from accidents. He conducts or directs research studies to identify hazards and evaluate loss producing potential of given system, operation or process. The Safety manager develops accident-prevention and loss-control systems and programs for incorporation into operational policies of organization. The Safety manager also coordinates safety activities of unit managers to ensure implementation of safety activities throughout the organization. He compiles, analyzes, and interprets statistical data related to exposure factors concerning various illnesses and accidents and prepares reports for information of personnel concerned.
The safety manager should be adept in treating casualties and should at least be a graduate in any discipline though. He should be experienced in this field from about 5-6 years to apply for this post.
