Inuit Services, Inc is seeking a full-time Warehouse Specialist HAZMAT (ASP) at Fort McCoy, WI to perform a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of warehousing, storage plans and the ability to direct day to day operations associated with ammunition.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Reports to the ASP daily.
Serves in the ammunition storage area with responsibility in performing forklift and warehouse duties.
Required to receipt for, movement of and sorting of various types of munitions and residue.
Responsible for receiving, sorting and inspecting turned-in ammunition residue and unused ammunition in accordance with established procedures and regulatory guidance.
Familiar with the preparation of the appropriate documentation used for accountability and reporting.
Will occasionally be required to operate trucks up to four ton capacity.
Load; unload trucks and other conveyances, of munitions and residue with may require transport to and from various areas within Fort McCoy.
Requires issuing and warehousing of munitions, to include packing, crating and marking of residue for shipment.
Paperwork associated with warehousing and shipping/receiving.

Job Requirements :
Required:
Possess certificates of completion of courses AMMO 4, AMMO 12, AMMO 62, and AMMO 80 as a fully qualified Ammunition Surveillance Inspector in accordance with AMC-R 350-4
High School Diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) Certificate.
Must be a steady, reliable worker.
Must be able to read simple instructions and follow simple diagrams.
Must be able to perform simple tasks independently after being given specific instructions.
Must be able to life fifty pounds repeatedly during a shift.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must have skills in the use of hand-trucks, dollies and other material handling equipment along with using hand tools when repairing containers, banding pallets and similar tasks
Ability to communicate both orally and writing with internal and external customers and co-workers.
Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
Preferred:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in warehousing or munitions.

Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for sitting, walking or standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, throwing, reaching, squatting, stretching, bending for prolonged periods of time; at times lift and carry as much at 50 pounds. Injury exposure could be minor cuts and bruises; considerable physical effort of hands and arms required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This position requires driving and working out of doors in extreme heat/ cold and possibly rainy weather and be able to work shifts if needed in support of a warehouse facility. Physical stamina and strength in all of its forms (endurance, temperature/ climate, stress, etc) is necessary.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
