Unit DescriptionnPlay an important role in the learning experience by creating clean, healthy, and comfortable learning environments while advancing your career.n nSodexo is seeking an innovative Environmental Services / Custodial Manager 1 in Orlando, Florida for Bishop Moore Catholic High School.n nReporting to the District Manager, this hands-on Custodial Manager will have 7 direct reports. Some responsibilities include hiring, scheduling, training, and coaching (corrective action and career coaching/mentoring) the custodial staff, in addition to inventory, having oversight of the facility, financial oversight, and safety management. The successful candidate will have knowledge of custodial services and experience in the industry. n nThis is a potential new account and contingent offers will be made.n nThe successful candidate will:nn Ensure equipment safety and compliance with Sodexo safety and loss prevention programs;n provide a clean and safe environment for students, visitors, and staff;n have oversight of staff and provide leadership and direction to employees;n coordinate/conduct employee training, hiring, performance reviews, constructive counseling, and prepare work schedules;n Interact with faculty, students, staff, and outside vendors;n ensure Sodexo Operating Standards for Environmental Service are in place and consistently met; andn review and maintains assigned areas of the Sodexo/Client budget commitments.nn nARE YOU THE ONE? While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.nPosition SummarynProvides management oversight for Environmental Services non-exempt level staff (client and/or Sodexo employees) in the delivery of Sodexo Environmental Service Programs. Ensures Sodexo Operating Standards for Environmental Service are in place as required to consistently meet all company, client, and regulatory requirements. Responsible for non-exempt work force planning through effective scheduling, development of daily work flow assignments, training and development, and monitoring for compliance to the plan.Key Duties-Establishes a safe work environment for clients, customers and staff by ensuring equipment safety and compliance with Sodexo safety and loss prevention programs and by providing safety-related training and equipment inventory maintenance.-Provide leadership and direction to non-exempt employees-Coordinate/conduct employee training-Administer Human Resource processes (hiring, performance reviews, constructive counseling, prepare work schedules, payroll, etc.)-Interact with outside vendors-Ensure Sodexo Operating Standards for Environmental Service are in place and consistently met.-Develop/implement action plans for improvement in compliance with Sodexo Operating Standards as identified. -Reviews and maintains assigned areas of the Sodexo/Client budget commitments.nQualifications & RequirementsnBasic Education Requirement - High School Diploma, GED or equivalentSodexo is an EEO/AA/Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran employer.
