As one of the fastest growing natural foods retailers, weu2019re seeking leaders who appreciate multifaceted environments and are ready to inspire healthy lifestyles through inviting experiences for all.nOverview of ResponsibilitiesnAt Sprouts Farmers Market, the Deli Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the Deli Department.  nn Manage the daily output, production, and display of Deli products nnn Responsible for hiring, onboarding and training new employees n Supervise and monitor product quality and consistency, track inventory, and manage the Deli's budget n Evaluate department conditions and operations to determine strengths and areas for improvement; develop improved practices and procedures n Ensure company standards for safety, proper food handling practices, sanitation, and productivity are maintained n Responsible for correct ordering, receiving, unloading, and storage nnn Execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays  n Responsible for managing department inventory, in-stocks, pricing integrity, merchandising, labor, and other operational processes to Sprouts standards n Plan and order according to company standards to maximize sales and gross profit n Administer team member performance reviews and corrective actions n If you thrive in fast-paced environments, we want to hear from you.        nn          nQualificationsnTo be a Deli Manager at Sprouts Farmers Market you must:nn Be at least 18 years of age with 2 years of supervisory experience and 2 years of deli department experience; or an acceptable combination of experience.n Be dependable and reliable, having the ability to work a flexible schedule that changes as the business changes; including nights, weekends and holidays. n Have strong good communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to take and give direction, participating in a team environment.n Have and show an outgoing and friendly behavior along with a positive attitude and the ability to interact with our customers, taking special orders and answering phones.n Possess a proven leadership ability to build, motivate and maintain staff, while possessing a working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers and financial goalsn Have a strong focus on detail, analytical and problem solving skills.n Have strong organization and planning skills; able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks n Have and maintain Food Safety certification. Also ensure that all federal, state, and company regulations and standards for product freshness, food safety, weights and measures, store safety, employee safety, refrigeration, and sanitation are met.n Have strong organization and planning skills; able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks n Must be able to lift/carry product horizontally/vertically weighing up to 70 lbs., from 4u201d to 60u201d for a distance up to 20 feet without mechanical assistance for up to 4 hoursn Must be able to stand for up to 4 hour continuously, for a total of 8 hours per shift. n Operate a slicer, wrapping and cooking equipment; assisting in maintaining all equipment in safe working condition.n Be able to perform other related duties as assigned.nnBenefitsnIn addition to a rewarding career, Sprouts offers a comprehensive program to help support you and your family.
