Reports to: Director, Business Development
Location: Huntersville, NC
Portfolio management responsibility – assist WW MAPA Brand Development Team to identify with new product opportunities for the US market. Additional responsibilities include market analysis, competitor analysis, pricing, communication, product specifications, sales tools and support, identification of the unmet needs on our strategic market segments in order to identify Innovation Projects. Handle all new USA/Canadian product set up within the Newell system and make sure it moves through the system quickly. Arrange and set up USA testing required to sell product into the USA market (in coordination with the MAPA Headquarter team based in France).
Handle all PE requests and enter in the Newell internal system. Develop new price lists based on supplier increases and distribution to customers via Salesforce.
Responsible and manage the controlled deployment of budgeted marketing funds that maximize product line and product growth within MAPA’s USA focus markets.
Make sure packaging & labels have necessary USA markings and promotional plans for new product launches to the distribution channel
In collaboration with Brand Development team, develop digital/print literature specific to NA Market, collateral material, advertising, Social Media post for social media
Responsible for the development of bespoke and tailor-made marketing programs and promotions with MAPA’s key and strategic customer base.
Responsible for management of trade shows for both MAPA AdvanTech and Professional including the following:
Oversee scheduling activities & product requirements
Recommend selection of shows based on defined budget
Act as liaison with outside services agents and organizations
Attend major trade shows for purpose of supervision and maintain market familiarity.
Manage and update the USA portion of the website through the new PPE Publisher program.
Manage and coordinate communication issues concerning social media, press releases, product bulletins, mailing information to the field, maintenance of catalog, literature and web site, price lists including relevant intercompany communication on marketing topics.
In conjunction with the sales department, develop and create effective training modules for both Professional and AdvanTech lines and conduct training sessions with existing and new employees on a needed basis
Education & Experience
Degree in business or marketing or related experience
3-5 years of sales and marketing related experience in the B2B market. Glove and safety industry experience a plus
