CDO is looking for someone experienced in logistics business processes, resource management, (e.g. facility requirements, equipment, budget, stock control); analyzing, developing, evaluating and advising on long and short term policies, plans, methods, procedures and systems for logistics readiness; and/or serving as the technical advisor on logistics readiness and development and implementation of readiness mission capabilities.
Job Requirements :
BS/BA in Management, Logistics or related field
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint (minimum 5 yrs experience or 2 years with certification)
Demonstrate familiarization (2 years experience) in programmatic or project budgeting, use of cost estimating tools, budget forecasting, and monitoring of charges and balances
Demonstrate familarization (2 years experience) with a variety of basic logistical concepts, practices, terminology and preocedures
Knowledge of a wide range of logistics concepts, principles, practices, procedures and regulations applicable to a full range of logistics management to include: cargo movement, supply requirements, structure and processes, equipment and vehicles management, storage, deployment planning and operations, global rules and cryogenics, and logistic plans under peacetime and wartime conditions
Ability to plan, organize and direct the functions and staff of a small to medium organization.
Ability to identify, analyze and translate complex information, make appropriate judgments and evaluate options concerning base readiness
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
