Business Development Manager Jobs
A business development manager for a company reports directly to the general manager for all aspects of business development work. He is expected to maintain and increase the goodwill of the company. The business development manager also forecasts capital requirements, maintains important company data, and strives to achieve targets in terms of sales by demonstrating various ways to generate the revenue. The business development manager should be enthusiastic and must constantly stay on top of the market to identify upcoming opportunities. The business development manager also coordinates with the company's other executives and helps in arranging important conferences, including preparing the agenda for a given conference.
A strong background in business development and a relevant bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience is typically required in this managerial position. A business development manager must also be ready to travel at any time. Lastly, good computer knowledge, especially as regards the preparation of reports (power point presentations, for example), is also a must for the business development manager.
