Branch Manager Jobs
A branch manager for a company reports directly to the general manager for all aspects of business development work and receives orders from him for his branch office. He is expected to multiply the goodwill of the company through the smooth functioning of his branch. The branch manager also forecasts capital requirements, maintains important company data, and strives to achieve targets in terms of sales by demonstrating various ways to generate the revenue. The branch manager should be enthusiastic and must constantly stay on top of the market to identify upcoming opportunities. The branch manager also coordinates with the company's other executives and helps in arranging important conferences, including preparing the agenda for a given conference.
A strong background in business development and a relevant bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience is typically required in this managerial position. A branch manager must also be ready to travel at any time. Lastly, good computer knowledge, especially as regards the preparation of reports (power point presentations, for example), is also a must for the branch manager.
